As you continue preparation efforts for CES 2019, it’s important to remember the award deadlines for many of the top media outlets in the tech space. If you have a product or service you’d like to submit for consideration, there are dates and some associated fees you’ll want to be aware of. We’ve pulled together a list of the top upcoming awards, and what you need to do to submit your entry accordingly.

 

Mashable’s Best Tech of CES

 

Criteria: To be considered for the Best Tech of CES 2019, the product must fulfill the following criteria: aimed at the consumer market, making its debut at CES 2019 and knock-your-socks-off amazing.

 

Deadlines: The deadlines for entries is December 26.

 

Engadget’s “Best of CES” Awards

 

Criteria: The product must fall within the 16 predetermined award categories (excluding People’s Choice), and will be judged in the areas of: innovation, design, market appeal and functionality. In addition, it must be new (within the year) and on display at the show. Companies represented must be official exhibitors or participants of CES 2019.

 

Deadlines: Submissions will remain open until 11:59pm PT on January 5, and finalists per category will be announced on January 9. Winners will be announced on January 10, on the Engadget stage live from CES beginning at 4pm EST.

Criteria: Products and services considered must fall within a predetermined category and stand out in the areas of: technology, innovation, design and value. Eligible products must be new at CES and are expected to ship in 2019 with a specific SKU. While brands are free to submit as many products as they’d like across any of the categories, eligibility will solely be at the discretion of the editors, and prototype and proof-of-concept products are generally ineligible.

 

Deadlines: Call for nominations is mid-November, and the estimated deadline is the second week of January.

 

TWICE Picks Awards

 

Criteria: Outstanding products that are new since the prior CES.

 

Cost and Deadlines: Each nomination is $595 per product nominated, per magazine (TWICE and Residential Systems). More than one product may be submitted for consideration to one or both publications. Deadline for entries is December 17, and the recipients will be announced prior to the conclusion of CES 2019.

 

Android Authority Best of CES 2019

 

Criteria: Products of most interest are consumer-centric and must make their formal debut at CES 2019. In addition, those considered are based on degree of innovation, and impact on the average consumer. They should challenge the status quo and promise to change the tech landscape over the next few years.

 

Deadlines: Nominations for submissions are now open and winners will be announced on January 11.

 

Last Gadget Standing

 

This is a live event at CES on January 10, whereby ten products, each signifying a major trend, is entered into a quick paced competition. The winner will be chosen by the audience (both online and live), with the intent of finding products that are ‘most likely to succeed.’

 

Deadlines: The application window is between September 4 and November 28 at midnight, and the finalists will be announced December 17. Online voting will be open from November 15 – December 14, and the live winner will be announced on January 10.

 

A wide array of additional media outlets will include a “Best of CES” roundup in their editorial coverage of the show. Some of those outlets include: *BGR, *Digital Trends, *Gear Patrol, *GottaBeMobile, *Huffington Post, *Notebook.com, *PC Magazine, *PC World, *Popular Mechanics, *SlashGear, *Stuff – Hot 10, *TechCrunch, *TechnoBuffalo, *TechRadar, *The Verge, *Time, *Tom’s Guide/Laptop, *Tom’s Hardware, *WIRED.
