While many fitness companies focus on statistics, Wahoo Fitness, chose to focus on the physical goal of exercise. With the help of Max Borges Agency, a unique Facebook application was created. The app, called the “Wahoo Steam Room,” asked users to “like” the Wahoo Fitness page as well as upload their own work-out photos for a chance to win their choice of any Wahoo product.

The photo with the most “likes” at the end of the week won the gear, incentivizing participants to share the page. The result was an increase of over 5,000 new fans. The custom ad campaign designed by MBA obtained fans at $0.34 per user with a 98% click-to-connection rate. These results, in fact, were so impressive that they led to an agency wide partnership with Facebook, itself.
