A leading producer in quality headphones, V-MODA designed the True Blood MAKER in-ear headphones inspired by HBO’s hit vampire series. Using social media as their main focus, MBA created the “Top Maker” Facebook application and awarded the individual who converted the most people to V-MODA fans with a pair of the limited edition True Blood MAKER headphones.

An ad campaign supported the application and targeted Facebook users discussing the television show during the airing of its third season. Using popular “vampire language” in the text of the application, loyal fans of the series were drawn in and responded positively to the social media strategies. During the two-week Facebook application and supporting ad campaign, V-MODA’s fan base doubled and continued to grow once the giveaway ended, resulting in exponential growth and more than a million social media impressions in the months following the conclusion of the campaign.
