As you continue preparation efforts for CES 2018, it’s important to remember the award deadlines for many of the top media outlets in the tech space. If you have a product or service you’d like to submit for consideration, there are dates and some associated fees you’ll want to be aware of. We’ve pulled together a list of the top upcoming awards, and what you need to do to submit your entry accordingly.
Criteria: To be considered for the Best Tech of CES 2018, the product must fulfill the following criteria: consumer-market friendly, making its debut at the 2018 show and knock-your-socks-off amazing.

Reviewed.com CES Editor’s Choice Award
Criteria: Products and services considered must fall within a predetermined category and stand out in the areas of: technology, innovation, design and value. Eligible products must be new at CES, and are expected to ship in 2018 with a specific SKU. While brands are free to submit as many products as they’d like across any of the categories, eligibility will solely be at the discretion of the editors, and prototype and proof-of-concept products are generally ineligible.
Deadlines: Call for nominations is early December, and the deadline is January 9. Submit your product here
Criteria: Winners are groundbreaking gadgets that are innovating in design, performance and the user experience in multiple categories. Categories range from “Best Smart Home Product” to “Best Design.” Eligible products must be announced or debuted at CES 2018.
Deadlines: Call for nominations is late November. Entries must be received by 1 PM EST on December 8, 2018. Submit your product here
Criteria: Products, services and technologies that could have the most impact on retail and the marketplace.
Cost and Deadlines: Each nomination is $525 until November 15, after which the price increases to $595. Deadline for entries is December 12, and the recipients will be announced before CES. Submit your product here
Criteria: Nominations will be evaluated for a combination of: benefit to the consumer, innovation, value, availability likelihood and overall level of giddiness experienced by the editorial team.
Deadlines: Call for submissions is early November, and the deadline is December 22. Submit your product here
This is a live event at CES on January 11, whereby ten products, each signifying a major trend, is entered into a quick paced competition. The winner will be chosen by the audience (both online and live), with the intent of finding products that will ‘truly endure.’ The 18th installment of this event will be hosted by David Pogue, the founder of Yahoo Tech.
Deadlines: The application window is between August 28 and December 11 at midnight, and the finalists will be announced December 18. Online voting will be open from January 1 – 10, and the live winner will be announced on January 11.
